May 25th was an unforgettable night at the Army, Navy & Air-Force Veterans in Canada, Unit #379 in Maple Ridge, B.C.! The Blues Women returned for the third time, delivering sensational performances that kept the crowd rocking all night long. With musical jams, meat draws, and a thrilling 50-50 draw, patrons had an absolute blast. If you missed out this time, mark your calendars for the next eventβyou won’t want to miss it!
During the event, Chef Lynette and Doug delighted attendees with their mouthwatering hand-made BBQ’d hamburgers, served on buns with a plethora of condiments to choose from. For just $9.00, guests indulged in generously sized burgers paired with Lynette’s delectable Potato Salad. It was a culinary delight that added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening’s festivities.
The Blues Women are making a comeback! On May 19th from 3-7pm, an all-female jam session will take place at Unit #379 of the ANAVETS in Maple Ridge, celebrating the incredible talent and contributions of women in the blues genre. This event promises to be a memorable and empowering experience for both the performers and the audience.

I was personally expecting maybe 50 patrons tonight to watch and listen to the Jam. IT WAS A PACKED HOUSE!

The ANAVETS Unit 379 in Maple Ridge, B.C., is hosting a St. Paddy’s Day Jam on March 16th, 2024, featuring green beer and Irish tunes by ‘Def Leprechaun’ from 4pm to 8pm.
